Friendly owners. Great brisket with good smoke flavor, it is tender and smoky. Hot links aren't too spicy but still delicious. Ribs are very meaty and juicy with good level of smoke on them. Charro beans, green beans, and okra are perfect. Mac and cheese is mac and cheese, not bad but not good. Would definitely recommend and will be back soon.

Amazing Smokey BBQ! Wish it had not taken me 2 years to finally stop and try it! 2nd time here and excellent just like the first time! Brisket, jalapeno cheddar sausage, and ribs with fries and fried okra for me and loaded baked potato with jalapeno cheddar sausage for my wife. Highly recommend! Wish I had taken photos before I started!

If you haven't tried Licos BBQ, you're missing out on some delicious home cooking. Love this place, had it again for lunch. My go-to is usually the brisket stuffed potato. It is 2 meals for me, eat it at once if you dare.

I got a pulled pork sandwich. GREAT seasoning, smokey flavor thru and thru. Not sure if they make the sauce but I wish I had some more. Great portion for the price. I’ll be back for sure. Tell them Deja sent you

First time here. We got our food to go. The beans were a hit, a nice mild flavor, not salty, and had nice smoky bacon flavor with pieces of bacon, onion, and Jalepenos. The brisket sandwich was loaded with tender, lean, moist, delicious sliced brisket. And so close to home. We will be back!

Ate here for the first time today. Looked it up on Google, read the good reviews and decided to go try. When I first walked in there was a couple that just ordered and we started talking. I told them it was my first time there and they went off on how they love the food and come every week. So the google reviews were verified by this couple. So I got me the brisket and my favorite, pulled pork. Make a long review short...go try it, it really is good bbq! I'll be going back!

Welcome to Lico’s Bar-B-Que Smokehouse, a hidden gem nestled in Rowlett, Texas, at 3390 Lakeview Parkway. This barbecue haven is where smoky flavors meet tender perfection, drawing both locals and visitors for an unforgettable dining experience. With a welcoming atmosphere and friendly owners, every visit feels like home.

The culinary star here is undoubtedly the brisket. Tender and rich, it comes infused with a captivating smoke flavor that keeps patrons coming back for more. Gerardo Bahena describes it as having a "good smoke flavor" and pairs it beautifully with hot links that are both mild in spice and delightful. If ribs are your jam, you’ll find them meaty and juicy, harmoniously kissed by the smoke that enhances their savory profile.

Beyond the meat, Lico's offers delectable sides that elevate the meal experience. The charro beans, green beans, and fried okra are particularly noteworthy, showcasing a perfect balance of flavors and textures. Though the mac and cheese may fall somewhere in the middle of the spectrum—neither remarkable nor disappointing—it serves its purpose well amidst such hearty competition.

First-time visitors, like Rusti Jennings, rave about the unbeatable combination of flavors. The jalapeno cheddar sausage has earned a special spot on the menu, paired with loaded baked potatoes that are as fulfilling as they are indulgent. It’s easy to see how returning guests find their way back time and again, as each dish seems to tell a story of smoke and mastery.

Service at Lico's is notably quick and welcoming. Jason Pizarroso praised the attentive staff, ensuring his meal was fresh and enjoyable. The overall experience is one of community and comfort, making Lico's not just a meal but a memorable occasion.

If you haven't yet ventured to Lico’s Bar-B-Que Smokehouse, you’re missing out on a feast that comfortably straddles the line between traditional barbecue and innovative home cooking. The brisket-stuffed potato that Sonia Bauer adores could very well turn into your own two-meal affair, if you dare to indulge!

Expect a warm atmosphere, hearty portions, and barbecue that resonates well beyond the plate. Lico’s Bar-B-Que isn't just a restaurant—it's an experience where every bite ignites a new craving.

Don’t just take my word for it; make the trip, grab some friends, and dig into the smoky goodness of Lico’s. Your taste buds will thank you, and you'll likely find a new favorite in the heart of Rowlett.
